After heading out to grab a quick curry for dinner, we wandered on in with the aim of checking out the KL Tower that was all lit up and seemingly just round the corner.. It seems that it was more than just round the corner – the further we walked, the more a stretch of forestry stretched alongside us, blocking access whilst never making it seem too far away.. Without really realising it, we found ourselves within easy reach (again deceptively so) of the Petronas Twin Towers, so decided just to head towards them…

Two hours later we were sitting at the foot of the towers.. Kinda worth a bit of a walk, but not really if you consider all the cheap public transport and cabs that could’ve got the job done in minutes rather than hours and left us with more time and energy to actually enjoy it…

Still… We got there, I got some snaps and I rewarded myself with £6.50’s worth of a pint of imported Strongbow in a nice, plush Irish bar that we found on the other side of the towers.
